Well it would depend upon your age and why you are having the physical. For a normal physical the doctor will listen to your heart and breathing, check your blood pressure and pulse and probably feel your abdomen. Sometimes the doctor needs to check your testicles and will ask you to drop your pants and he will cup your testicles and ask you to turn your head and cough. If you are around the age of 40 the doctor will most likely check your prostate gland. The doctor does this by inserting a gloved and lubricated finger into your anus (butthole) and feeling the prostate. This is obviously not the most comfortable thing to have to go through but is necessary to make certain you do not have an enlarged prostate, which can cause difficulty urinating and can be a sign that prostate cancer is a possibility. The doctor will also ask questions about your general health and weigh you and get your height.
