What happens during a Laser or IPL treatment?
According to Cindy: Before each session begins, system settings are customized according to skin color, hair density and the area of the body being treated. Treatment begins by trimming and shaving hair. A cold gel is spread over the treatment area. Clients wear special eyewear to protect the eyes from the bright light. The handpiece is moved over the treatment area, while light-based energy is emitted in highly controlled flashes or pulses. After the treatment the gel is removed. Hair gradually falls out over the next two weeks.
