Also known as a “colonic”, “colon lavage”, colon irrigation”, or “high colonic”, colonic hydrotherapy is a safe, comfortable and effective method for cleansing the colon of waste material by repeated, gentle flushing with warm water. It is not painful or embarassing and the therapist will ensure your comfort and care at all times. At the start of your first treatment the therapist will ascertain your reasons for beginning treatment, and fully explain the procedure as it will happen. The therapist will be present throughout the entire treatment to discuss your lifestyle and diet and observe how you and your body responds during the session. You will be fully covered, by a gown and/or large towel, at all times. The treatment itself lasts between 35-45 minutes, with time left at the end to visit the bathroom. Dietary and supplement recommedations which be made as well as advice on how many treatments may be needed.
