What happens at Tryouts?
Rain City Coaches will run Players through drills, skills testing, etc. during the try-out session. Coaches will talk with players and parents during try-outs in no particular order. Some players will be offered a spot on the team they are trying out for. Below is an explanation of the signing process and how to commit to a club team for the 2009 2009 Signing / Commitment Process: All players who are offered a position with Rain City Volleyball Club that played for(incumbents) Rain City Volleyball Club last season (2008) may sign a contract and give their deposit on the following dates: U-14 & Under Incumbents November 15, 2009 U-15 & Older Incumbents December 1, 2009 All players offered a position with Rain City VBC that did not play (non-incumbents) for Rain City Volleyball Club last year, will be able to give a verbal commitment the day of the tryout, but may not sign the contract and give their deposit to play with Rain City Volleyball Club until their signing date.
