At the Meeting of Creditors, your Chapter 7 Trustee will swear you in and ask you questions based on the papers filed in your case. The meeting is conducted in a small meeting room, I will be there with you, and it usually takes less than 5 minutes. I will also call you a day or two before your meeting to remind you and see if you have questions. Prior to your creditors’ meeting, I will mail you a map to the courthouse, and my firm will contact you the day before the meeting to remind you.
