What happens at Leave Weekends and how often are they?
• Approximately every third weekend is a “Leave Weekend” and at this time the College is closed. • Leave Weekends start at 5.00pm on the Friday and the Boarding Houses reopen at 6.00pm on the Sunday evening. Boarders return home or to their guardians until Sunday evening. • All boarders are expected to spend the Leave Weekends at home or with guardians. However, if an overseas pupil is unable to either go home or stay with their guardians on a Leave Weekend, there will be provision made at the College (in the Senior School only) for these pupils to be accommodated with appropriate supervision. A charge of 32 per night (as from September 2009) is made for this service. Mrs Julie Windley would be able to advise further on this.
