What happens at committee (trustee) meetings?

0

Committee meetings are where the trustees meet and discuss the management of the charity. The Chair will lead the discussions. Any decisions made at the meeting must be decided by a democratic vote of the trustees and in the case of a split vote the Chair will be given a casting vote. The quorum for committee meetings is not less than half the committee including any two officers. The Secretary should draw up and circulate an agenda before the meeting to highlight matters to be discussed. The agenda should also include: a report from the Chair, a statement of the finances from the Treasurer, and an update from the Secretary of any correspondence made or received since the previous meeting.
