What happens at a third degree in knights of columbus?
The Knights of Columbus are not a secret society, but their ceremonials are secret. This is not a question that can be answered the way one might wish. A candidate becomes a full Knight after taking his First and then Second Degree (which is usually done the same day as the Third). He can then take his Fourth Degree, the last step in Knighthood, but this degree is strictly voluntary as it is a different puppy from the rest. In order of Degrees taken, Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism are the four main principles of the Order. So, basically, the Third Degree teaches Fraternity.
