What happens at a spiritual family meeting?
When the spiritual family meets, they do what healthy families do. They discuss prayer concerns and needs since the last meeting. As needs are presented, they are recorded as prayer requests and discussions often take place about possible solutions. The real power in the spiritual family comes from the power of prayer. Because everyone involved in the spiritual family is a Believer, the power of the Holy Spirit is available to help the family reach agreement in prayer. On decisions of significance, the family agrees to refrain from taking action until the family has unity after prayer. This makes the spiritual family a unique form of group mentoring for the neighbor. When God answers prayer, there is no doubt the need is met with His perfect provision.
