What happens after the photo session?
At the end of your photo session I will schedule an appointment for me to return and present your images. This will normally be arranged for a week later to provide enough time for me to edit and select the best photos from the session. On the return visit, I present around 50-60 images for you to choose from, from your photo session. Please take a look at my photo blog to get an idea of the types of pictures I take, or take a look at the portfolio page to see some sample photos which will give you a good overview of my shooting style. Images are presented via a slideshow on a laptop and also in the form of an A4 sized contact sheets with fifteen thumbnail images on each page. You then can choose your final products once you have seen your images and I am on hand to offer advice if you would like help working out how best to display your images. In the case of passport photo sessions, we will choose the image to be used at the end of the session.
Your online proof sheets will usually be available for viewing within 1 business day of your photo session. You’ll look through the proofs, and you can also share them with your agent, manager, friends & family via e-mail. When you decide which shot(s) you want to have retouched, what border you want, and which font you would like to use for your name, just give me a call or send me an e-mail with the number of the photo you’ve decided on. I’ll have your retouched headshot ready in 1-2 business days, and will e-mail you a low-resolution JPEG proof so you can make sure it’s what you want. Once you’ve approved the retouching, your retouched headshot will be sent directly to the photo lab of your choice, and you can call or visit them to place an order for reproductions.
