What happens after I post to a Gmane newsgroup?

Re-send your reply to the auth message. • I did re-send, but still no reply. Then I don’t know. Did you really send a reply to the right address? • I sent a reply, and got a message back saying that Gmane would forward the message to the mailing list. But it didn’t reach the mailing list.
