What happens after an appeal is submitted to the Financial Aid Office?
The appeal is reviewed for completeness. Incomplete appeals are not reviewed and you will be notified that no action will be taken until complete. If it is complete, it is initially reviewed to determine the level of appeal (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3). If the minimum standards can be reasonably expected to be met within one additional term of enrollment, it will be approved by the Financial Aid Office at the appropriate level (1, 2, or 3) within 10 business days of submission. This approval is contingent upon meeting any enrollment requirements established by your academic advisor, such as enrollment in specific number of credit hours and/or specific courses. If you cannot meet the minimum standards within one enrollment term, the appeal will be forwarded to the appropriate level for review. These appeals may take 20 business days from time of submission.
