What happens about practical training?
You will receive a Practical Skills Booklet to help you identify the areas you need to work on. You must take on a level of responsibility for acquiring these practical skills but the booklets will help you. BTEC and degree students must attend a number of five-day residential Study Weeks to supplement the theoretical knowledge with practical training and assessment. BHS HKC Stage 1 to 4 students can opt to attend Study Weeks. The Study Weeks are held at TOCES yard in Suffolk and are open to all students.
