WHAT HAPPENED WITH Tooth and Nail RECORDS?
The situation with Tooth and Nail is simple, Tooth and Nail screwed MxPx. MxPx were all happy-happy, then they realized that Brandon Ebel was in it for the money, and was taking advantage of many bands and doing other things, he was exploiting people because they were Christian, he makes his money off of the Christian market. MxPx decided that they wanted to be vast and not stay into all the Christian festivals and things, so they left Tooth and Nail and were looking for a good record company that would not interfere with what they wanted. A&M were very nice and just told MxPx that they wanted some good stuff, and to go out and do it. Tooth and Nail decided to try and take advantage of the band that made T&N well known because without MxPx T&N sucks… MxPx realised that T&N were ripping them off so they went to court over liability and copyright, and other things. MxPx did this because they did not want Let It Happen to be released, LIH was released so Tooth and Nail could lower the sal
