What happened with Aftermath?
Truth Hurts: Nothing really happened with aftermath it was really with Interscope it was basically around the time the lawsuit for Addictive was going down. Interscope kinda wanted to pull back on me for my sophomore album and my attorney was being very aggressive so they can come to an amicable conclusion about how to treat the sophomore LP and Dr. Dre didnt have much to say about that so it was kind of like I had to either stand up or decide if they werent going to be behind me, I might as well be independent. So it kind of went my way not thinking I was going to be independent at the time. I was talking to some other labels, negotiating with other labels talking to TVT in general. I was thinking, Let me try something different, I was a little scared at the time about the whole label thing and then I talked to Raphael, then I just jumped on the bandwagon.
