The same thing happened with the blue smarties, they had bad additives in them and were banned for the effect they had on humans, especially children and we are expecting another ban on a lot of additives soon

lots of sweets these days have changed because of all the additives / colourings that were in them – it might be the case that they couldnt find a way to make the yellow ones taste the same/similar and also take out the bad ingridients at the same time!
