A decision was taken back in September 2007 on Usenet. It was decided to remove Usenet for several reasons. the volume of posts there was causing difficulties for iNET the content is available elsewhere, through other access points the content wasn’t especially significant or relevant to dbForums, it was felt it included more than average RFH’s it was taking up a significant amont of moderator time to cull the crud, the spam and the porn. …at least that was my understanding of the thought process.
