TEMPLE – A Walgreens employee was injured Sunday night during a robbery of the Walgreens on South 31st St. Temple Police say the suspect jumped over the front counter, grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and fled. The clerk was treated and released for her injuries at Scott and White Hospital. The suspect is described as 40-year-old black male 5’9″ – 5’11”; 140-170 lbs. He is clean shaven with short curly black hair wearing a long sleeve white shirt, black workout pants and black shoes.
