What happened to the snow removal for Omaha?

0

I live in a SID in Douglas County and our Streets are plowed by the County. Our streets are still covered in snow. Since we have moved out of the city of Omaha, now over two years ago I have noticed no improvement in snow removal and in many cases it has been worse. My mill levy is higher then the City of Omaha AND I have to pay for my trash service (which is not included in my property taxes unlike the City of Omaha). I know I am going to get grief in this forum, but I look forward to the day we are annexed by the City of Omaha. To defends the snow removal a little bit, the layer of ice and the frigid cold weather along with the initial focus of cleaning the main roads lead to a pretty stubborn glaze of the side roads which has been hard to remove once cars have driven over them for a few days.
