What happened to the Sheraton Hotel murder thread?
The four people found dead Monday in a Towson hotel room were members of a family from Long Island, N.Y., and one daughter was a sophomore at Loyola College, officials said Tuesday. Baltimore County Police identified the family members as William Parente, 59; his wife, Betty Parente, 58; and their daughters, Stephanie Parente, 19; and Catherine Parente, 11, all of Garden City, N.Y. Police said they were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide. Their bodies were found Monday in a locked room in the Sheraton Baltimore North, near the Towson Town Center mall. “With sadness, we report a whole family is dead,” Cpl. Michael Hill, a police spokesman, said at a news conference late Tuesday morning.
