What happened to the radio station wnua 95.5, in chicago?
It went off the air Friday, May 22, 2009 at 9AM. At that time they switched to a Spanish format. Glenn Cosby and I wrote each other a few times and he told me that WNUA was back in the top ten when Clear Channel pulled the plug, but in its greed Clear Channel wanted to try and make even more money. So they catered to the growing Spanish demographic. If you liked Smooth Jazz WLFM at 87.7 switched their format within a few hours of WNUA ceasing to be a smooth jazz station.
