What happened to the old actress for Sam (eastenders?
I’m so glad others agree. I’m so disappointed with how the producers have handled everything and with Danniella’s portrayal of Sam. It’s like a completely different character to the Sam that Kim Medcalf portrayed. Really not believable at all to me. I understand characters do get recast from time to time, but you’d think they’d try and keep so continuity going. Before Sam left in 2005 (played by Kim) she was trying to be a sophisticated business woman, handling the Mitchell empire and was just generally a lot classier than the girl she was about 10 years ago. Now Sam returns in 2009 (played by Danniella) wearing skimpy, tacky clothes, shouting and just generally being a complete contrast to how she was before. I understand there is not a lot they can do about the actresses not quite looking the same, but couldn’t they even dress Danniella slightly similarly to Kim or style her hair the same? I really miss Kim and hope that one day she could return, though I’m not sure there’s much chan
