What happened to the little rascals?
The Little Rascals were a household name in the 1950’s. The “gang” was lead by George “Spanky” McFarland. Spanky had is own show in 1960, where he tried to start a new version of the show. He left show business and became a salesman. he did a couple of guess spots on “Cheers” until his death in 1993. Matthew “Stymie” Beard was a frequent guess on “Sanford and Son,” he died in 1981. Allen “Farina” Hoskins, who was the highest paid star of the show from 1922 til 1932, died in July of 1980. Tommy “Butch” Bond died in September of 2005.
