What happened to the Community Center that was supposed to be built at 4000 Argonne St?
The GVR Metropolitan District Board, through feedback received in two different surveys, along with feedback received at Board meetings, decided at their October 2009 Board Meeting to terminate the project and save the money that was going to go towards construction and development of that project. The Board will continue to analyze the need for a center in years to come and look to build one when public support is higher for such a project.
