What Happened to the Children of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg?
On June 19, 1953, American Communists Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed in the electric chair at Sing Sing Penitentiary in New York. They left behind two small sons, six year old Robert and ten year old Michael. For three months, they were taken in by their maternal grandmother, but she was unable to care for them and placed them in the Hebrew Orphans Home.
