What happened to the baseball diamonds on the site?
As part of the construction, temporary baseball diamonds established on the site have been removed and sports groups using the site have been relocated to other City facilities. In 2005, the City of Brampton opened baseball diamonds at Bramalea Road and Countryside Drive to accommodate the needs of the Brampton Softball Association, anticipating as part of this plan the removal and relocation of the Sandalwood facility diamonds.
