What happened to the 2008 Convention?
I would have hoped calmer heads had prevailed and that Mr. Trolli, would have allowed others to help produce the convention. But he lost all direction and in his efforts to micro-manage everything, he become totally confused and disoriented in his efforts to produce the convention. He has no organizational and management skills and it shows in his total mis-management of the planning and implementation of the convention. According to many of the hotels and vendors, he was hostile, argumentative and difficult to deal with. One convention bureau executive compared him to the “Meeting Planner from Hell.” Mr Trolli needed to have a group of strong committee members to handle all of the key areas of the convention. Instead, he alienated every qualified and experienced committee volunteer and focused on belittling or ruining others, or on making more money, when he should have been trying to serve the members.
