What happened to Sam in Italy?
On 17th April, whilst performing in Bologna, Italy, Sam felt some discomfort and had to stop playing. Despite numerous attempts to continue, the pain was too much for him to go on, and the show was cancelled. Later, Sam was taken to hospital after collapsing backstage. After an examination, it was determined that he was suffering from a stressed nerve in his arm. He collapsed due to performing whilst suffering from the flu. Sam made a full recovery, and after treatment was able to play the following night at the rescheduled performance.
