After O’Connor’s death, the remaining peacocks were given to Stone Mountain Park (GA), Our Lady of Perpetural Help Cancer Home (Atlanta, GA), and Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Monastery (Conyers, GA). Predators killed the peacocks at Stone Mountain Park; the peacocks at Our Lady of Perpetual Help were sent to join the ones at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit. In the early 1980s the peacocks were given to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reindl, Lake Lorelei, Ohio. Fox killed the last of O’Connor’s peacocks.
