================================================ This is a very sore point with many cssm readers! MATLAB Development for the Macintosh ceased some time ago. The last supported release is MATLAB 5.2.1. Matt Jones reports that although it is old, it still works well on all MAC operating systems since 8.6, including classic mode in OSX, with little or no performance hit. Many people point out that MAC OSX is essentially UNIX, so resuming MAC development should be straightforward. They also point out that there is a sizable market for a new MAC version. Nonetheless, the official position of The MathWorks is “we will continue to evaluate the situation.
