What happened to Marty Shirah and Dick Lee, who were on The Big Talker morning show?
Marty Shirah and Dick Lee did a morning show on ‘The Big Talker,’ WNTB 93.7 FM and WLTT 106.3 FM, for about five years earlier this decade. For the past three years, Shirah has been the host of “Talk of the Town,” which airs from 5:30 a.m.-8 a.m. weekdays on WAAV 980 AM. Shirah said he hasn’t talked to Lee in about six months and as far as he knows his former broadcasting partner is retired from radio and living in Holden Beach. “I sure do miss him,” Shirah said. “We had a lot of fun.” Shirah said Lee had gone back to his home town of Baltimore after his mother passed away to take care of his father. Lee stayed in Baltimore for about eight months, Shirah said, but subsequently returned to Holden Beach.
