What happened to Eric Claptons son?
It is a very long and extremely tragic story. I’ll try to give you a brief synopsis and a link to his mother’s telling of the story (below). His name was Conor and he was 4 yrs. old. They were staying at a friend’s apt in N.Y. on the 53rd floor. Clapton was out of the apt. Conor’s mother, nanny, and a janitor were in the apt. Conor decided to play hide and seek and the nanny was chasing him. He ran into the room where the janitor had opened a window they didn’t even know would open. As Conor and the nanny entered the room, the janitor stopped the nanny to tell her about the open window. Conor ran straight out the window. The nanny screamed, his mother ran into the room and saw what had happened. Clapton came back 5 minutes after this had happened. The janitor did not say so much as “sorry ’bout that”.
