What happened to content areas and folders?

In 3.0, content areas were collections of folders that were managed separately from Portal pages. Beginning with Oracle9iAS Portal Release 2, folders and pages have been merged into a single entity, known as a Page. Pages are managed in Page Groups, which replace the 3.0 content areas.
