What happened to Clear Creek District Water Providers?
Clear Creek District Water Providers (“Clear Creek District”) assigned all of its interest in the quarry to Brannan and will no longer have any interest in the quarry. Bob Lembke, who organized Clear Creek District, is a developer with interests in a number of Front Range projects. He intended to develop the MMRR Quarry to ensure a steady supply of quarry rock for his and other Front Range projects. He picked this site because he thought it would add value to and be beneficial to the County with minimal impacts to the County’s infrastructure and the surrounding properties. Once he obtained the state permit for the quarry from the Mined Land Reclamation Board, he applied to the County for a special use permit.
