Tom sez: The short story is that it was flooded very deeply in the storm aftermath, leaving an expensive repair to be done. I have not been able to reach the owners. Bangkok Cuisine was originally opened by the Semiesuke family, which still runs Lla Thai Cuisine (933 Metairie Road, 828-3080), one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. But they sold it well before the storm. There are many other Thai restaurants around town that you ought to try if you haven’t. Click here for the current list.
