What happened to all the Music CDs at Tower Records ?

When Tower announced bankruptcy, I hit their largest location by the Juilliard School and bought everything I didn’t have in my collection. Some CD’s were up to 75% off… the majority were 40%. Everything was discounted. I remember a lot of music lovers in the classical section buying what they could get their hands on. Students, musicians, and audiences were there over a months time stocking up. I still haven’t listened to every cd or watched every DVD I bought. Some of my haul included DVD copy of The Ring by Wagner, the CD’s to The Great Pianists of the 20th Century that I didn’t have and now I have the complete set, Angela Hewitt’s recordings of every Bach composition for keyboard, Solti’s recordings of the Beethoven Symphony’s…. Everything recorded by Renee Fleming that I could get my hands on. It got to the point that Tower was selling the display cabinets, tables and cd racks they used. Its sad that they are no longer around. They were my source for classical recordings. No w
