General major von Lossow with Gustav Ritter von Kahr (Minister President of Bavaria) and Colonel Hans Ritter von Seisser, head of the Bavarian State Police (Landespolizei) are part of the triumvirate who at this time exercised political control in Munich. 8th November 1923: Lossow and Kahr were addressing a meeting of 2,000 right wing supporters in a Munich beer hall. Hitler and stormtroppers burst in and declare a national revolution.
