What happened in greys anatomys last episode?
Izzie was back for the episode because her favorite high school teacher was having medical problems and she knew she would be able to dictate his treatment at SGH. She has Derek and Dr. Percy run a bunch of tests and they all come back normal. Then he does a spinal tap which drains the fluid from his brain that was making him have alzheimer’s like symptoms. He had to have surgery but he couldn’t afford it so Izzie went to the chief to convince him to let Derek do it pro bono. The chief’s wife comes to the hospital looking for him because he hasn’t been home all night and barely been around for a week. At first she suspects that he is cheating with Bailey then she tells her that she’s wrong. Also the chief botched a surgery by making one of the biggest mistakes a surgeon can make and he hands all of his cases to Bailey telling her that he is too “stressed” with the merger and everything else that he can’t afford to let it cloud his mind anymore.
