What happened in City of Glass by Cassandra Clare?
SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, DON’T READ AHEAD: Ok so The Lightwoods leave for glass city without Clary, to escape from the forsaken. They have to take Simon with them, to save him because he was hurt in battle. This is not good, because Downworlders aren’t allowed in glass city. Clary uses her special rune drawing talent to draw a portal, and her and Luke get transported to this lake, called Lake Lyn (this is important, u’ll see) Clary and Luke travel to the glass city. Meanwhile, Jace is at the Penhallows house, who are friends with the Lightwoods. They have a daughter named Aline, who is attracted to Jace, and Aline’s cousin Sebastian is there too. Simon is supposed to be taken home, and goes to meet the Inquisitor, but it turns out the Inquisitor just wants to lock him up.
