What happened between May 2009 and September 2009 – it all went quiet?
Nothing sinister in that – and behind the scenes there was an enormous amount of work being put into the legal and business aspects of the deal to purchase the Julia. One of the vendor’s conditions of our purchasing this fine ship was that negotiations should be completed in a ‘media blackout’ – and so we were unable to keep folks updated on progress. Now that the deal is done – we have no such restrictions – and we will be reporting progress as we move towards our start-date of March 1st 2010.
