What happened between 1988 and 1992 that caused bin laden to be so mad at the bush family?
I know the movie you just watched. The fighting against the USSR film, I forgot what it’s called. Bin Laden was mad at the West well before 1988. Just after the Soviet Union was removed, he finished off with his next threat, the West. Bin Laden’s frustrations go back all the way to the fall of the Ottoman Empire about 70-80 years ago when an Islamic Liberation movement was wrecked by a British occupation. Since then it’s been exploitation of Muslim lands by westerners. Also the ties between the US and the Saudi Royal family are corruptly financial and ironically the completely opposite of supporting freedom around the world.
