Very early morning on Sunday, June 1, there was a fire at Universal Studios in Universal City, CA. This fire was an unfortunate accident caused by some routine roofing work being performed on a backlot facade. The fire was contained to the studio backlot only. None of the theme park rides or shows were affected, and the Studio Tour immediately resumed operations.
