What happend to the children of the holocaust after the war?
People from various organizations tried to locate living family members. This was a time consuming process. If they had living family members they would be reunited with them and get a new start to live. After the war when the survoirs had made there way out of the death camps many houses were empty and people were leaving. There was much confussion and chaos. I have also heard that children that survived the Nazi death camps would be put for adoption so adults could adopt them.
