What happend between mushroomhead and Slipknot?
It has to do with how members of Mushroomhead believe that Slipknot stole their look and their sound. They came along first and were close to signing a recording contract with Roadrunner Records. Due to the inability of the two parties to come to an agreement, they weren’t signed. Then a year later, Slipknot was signed to this label. This band had a similar look (right down to the masks), a similar style, and roughly the same number of members. Basically, Mushroomhead band members feel that Slipknot ripped them off.
