What hair color is best for gray hair?
Always perm your hair AFTER color, as perms fade your color because of the neutralizing solution. We never color and perm a client’s hair in one day though, as this is too many chemicals on the hair and perms are somewhat abrasive to the cuticle. You won’t get the best longevity out of your color. Therefore, perm you hair, and wait at least two weeks and do your color. As far as the color, you need something that works best with your skin tone. If you are looking for low maintenance though, stick with blondes as they fade best into your grey root area, and you won’t see such a solid line of growth so fast. Hope this helps. Good luck!
