What gynecology and birth control is available?
The Family Planning Program is a federally funded program which allows you to receive contraceptive supplies. The need for GYN appointments is reserved for annual medical exam, including a gynecologic exam (a pelvic exam) and a biannual PAP smear, which is a requirement of The Family Planning Program. “Female concerns” including vaginal discharges and irritations in the anatomy covered by underwear, can be addressed in a Medical Appointment despite them being of a gynecological nature.
