What guitar chords go well togther with a bass?
Well, you do the chords on your guitars and then fit the bass round the chords. So say you have a chord progression of C major – A minor – G major – F major The bassline could play the root note of each chord (ie the name so C is the root of C major). alternatively you could play around with notes in the scale. A nice one is F/G, which is F major with a G played in the bass, a little bit r’n’b. You can usually fit the chord with the fifth in the bass, so C major with a G in the bass, E major with a B in the bass, that kind of thing.
