Additionally hundreds of service providers, interested citizens, other funding entities, and United Way volunteers provide insight. The community goals are developed from the information gathered at these meetings, a review of current activities and other research. This volunteer-directed research is used to determine the health and human services priorities where United Way funds will be invested.
