What guidelines do we need to follow in determining the content of an approvable local hazard mitigation plan (LHMP)?

The Interim Final Rule (IFR) 44 CFR Parts 201 and 206, Hazard Mitigation Planning and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program list the content requirements of State, local and Tribal, mitigation plans. The FEMA/CalEMA Plan Review Crosswalk is based on those published in the IFR and should be completed and attached to a draft plan when submitting the plan to CalEMA and FEMA for review. Guidelines for completing an LHMP are available at: http://www.fema.gov/plan/mitplanning/planning_resources.
