What guidance can be offered when a learner has disabilities and/or special educational needs?
A. As with all students, it is important that they are carefully matched to placements by experienced staff and effectively supported during their placement. Processes should be in place to match all learners to placements that meet their learning needs, capabilities and the practicalities of getting to and from the placement.
